Book Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot Great Photographs with a Film or Digital Cameraby 02-05-2008 Loved it
If you're new to photography, or like me struggle to understand the relationship between ISO speed, aperture size, and shutter speed, I can't recommend this book enough.
Video Games Mass Effect Limited Edition (Xbox 360) 09-12-2007 Really liked it
Great game. Really, honestly, great game. An inch from "bestest game ever". So close to flawlessness... yet so far.
Video Games Crackdown (Xbox 360) 13-03-2007 Loved it
Hats off to the developers for a runaway streetcar of a hit - they deserve all the success they get out of this. Whether you bought the game for Halo Beta or are yet debating whether it's worth the bother, this is a game worth owning, playing, and proudly admitting you enjoyed thoroughly.
Video Games Microsoft Racing Wheel with PGR3 (Xbox 360) 05-12-2006 Loved it
The best force-feedback racing wheel I've ever laid fingers on.
Video Games Viva Pinata (Xbox 360) 05-12-2006 Didn't like it
The opening scene says it all: Someone comes along with a big stick and beats a small animal to death; what's left of it cascades onto the ground, spelling out Rare's logo.
Video Games Chibi Robo (GameCube) 18-10-2006 Really liked it
Having been told over and over that this was a game worth paying attention to, I finally went out and bought it.
Video Games Marvel Ultimate Alliance (Xbox 360) 21-11-2006 Didn't like it
On the whole, Marvel Ultimate Alliance turns out to be a pretty fun multiplayer/co-op game experience, but has some critical flaws that marr the experience.
Video Games Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (Xbox 360) 17-11-2006 Really liked it
One of the best co-op games ever created; sit down with a friend and enjoy one of the best entertainment experiences of the year.
Video Games Gears of War (Xbox 360) 22-11-2006 Liked it
A solid, innovative, and breathtakingly beautiful attempt to change the direction of the First-Person Shooter genre, but with a handful of fatal flaws that limit its shelf-life.
